Patients’ engagement in FACILITATE

FACILITATE aims to develop a process to return clinical trial data to study participants, transforming the way patients will have access to clinical trial data in Europe. We will engage Patients as stakeholders that play a central role at all levels in the FACILITATE project.

The patients’ involvement is coordinated by the European Organisation for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS) in collaboration with the other patient advocacy and patient training organizations such as the European Patients’ Academy on Therapeutic Innovation EUPATI EU, EUPATI Italy and CITTADINANZATTIVA – Active Citizenship Network (ACN).

Patients will be part of the decision-making process and be directly involved in activities within different work packages of FACILITATE, ensuring that the methodologies identified correspond to patient views, needs, expectations and preferences.
