How can we truly put patients first when it comes to health data? Professor Johanna Blom, Coordinator of the FACILITATE project and Professor of Psychobiology at the University of Modena, shares her vision in this new video released to mark the 19th European Patients’ Rights Day, 15th of May.

Professor Blom explained what FACILITATE is and how it contributes to the European Health Data Space (EHDS), why returning individual clinical trial data to participants is so important, how trust, transparency and participant autonomy must be at the heart of any framework, and why overcoming distrust is key for meaningful use of health data in Europe
